BREAKING!: Yeast Infections to Zombify Humanity

That’s the best headline we could come up with. We were trying not to be alarmist or apocalyptic about it so we stuck with what you see.
We had an intern at JBNI who loved everything about Zombies. Brilliant college kid. But he just loved zombies. He loved everything about them including those games where you shoot them for points and the admiration of the only other uninfected human left on earth (who always happens to be some super-model).
According to the latest science, the intern may have a higher chance of living out his dreams than we ever imagined possible. And if it happens it will not likely be due to a virus or a bacteria. The mass insta-zombification of humanity will be caused by fungus. Yes, this is the same stuff that causes annoying yeast infections and bakes the most velvety loaf of bread.
To understand why, and because it’s easier to cite a list of facts than to construct paragraphs, here are ten facts about fungus (you can connect the dots).
1. You probably picked up a fungus.
When you go in to see the doctor for some weird skin rash that popped up on your return plane ride from Peru and he says it’s a “non-specific disease,” It’s almost always a fungus you picked up in the water. And it is “non specific” because modern medicine is not able to “specify” each of the rapidly evolving estimated 200,000 fungi on earth.
2. Fungus and bacteria are mortal enemies.
Antibiotics are what kills “biotics.” If you don’t know what “biotics” are, just think of “pro-biotics” that put “healthy bacteria” in your colon like Yogurt that “ACTIVates your Anus (Activia).” So now that you know that biotics are bacteria, an antibiotic is a 100% fungus based bacteria killer. It’s the green stuff that grows on moldy oranges – penicillin is fungus that destroys unwanted bacteria (the kind that does not help your bowel movements).
3. New diseases like Morgellon’s are likely (maybe) caused by “evolved intelligence” fungi.
Morgellon’s is a condition where hair thin black or white fibrous worms shoot out of your face and tongue then immediately retract when you try to pull them out with tweezers. Forward the above video to 1:30s IF YOU DARE.
4. Fungus grows in outer space. Fungus varieties on earth are increasing due to extraterrestrial fungi invaders. Yep. There is fungus in outer space.
5. Fungus does not need oxygen to survive. For the last 50 years, space explorers have been bringing back fungus from space onto earth.

6. The Russian Space Shuttle MIR was eaten by space fungus.
It brought back a “horror movie” grade fungus that ate through their space shuttle’s extra hard space quartz and titanium.
7. The science community is divided …
…on whether these super fungi were picked-up in space or whether they originated on earth then rapidly mutated in space due to the absolute levels of radiation.
8. Scientists are worried about super “space-fungus.”
“We don’t want future Mars voyagers to bring back to Earth mutated microorganisms which could pose a potential threat to humanity,” Deshevaya, a researcher at the Department at the Institute of Biomedical Problems in Moscow.
We dont want future Mars voyagers to bring back to Earth mutated microorganisms which could pose a potential threat to humanity
9. Moscow’s IBMP developed an extremely powerful “Fungistat.” It failed.
They admit that even the most effective disinfecting measures, like filling spacecraft with an extremely toxic gas mixture, do not kill all the fungi and bacteria.
10. Fungus can survive the 3000°F Space Shuttle reentry temperature.
‘Nuff Said.
11. BONUS: JBNI, the producer of this blog is also the producer of commercially available Bioprin – called, “remarkable” by Ph.D.s from Dana Farber Cancer Institute / Harvard Medical School.
