Myth: Sugar Makes Children HyperActive and Gives Them ADHD

Dr. Vreeman and Dr. Carroll, pediatricians at the Riley Hospital for Children, conducted trials and found no difference in in behavior between the kids that had sugar and those who did not. Parents that were told their kids had sugar, even when they didn’t, noted their child as being hyperactive. Source

Truth: Kids are not hyperactive. Parents are hypoactive.
